Help with new tires and rims!! I just got chrome Z06 wheels. The rears are 18x10.5 56+ offset with 305/35/18 Nitto 555R tires. The fronts are 18X9.5 56+ offset with 275/35/18 Nitto 555 tires. My car is a 2002 SS with the Bilstein suspension option.
1. Will I have to do a BFH mod and Bumpstop mod?
2. If so does anyone have any pics on what it looks like.
3. Where exactly do I have to whack it and how much of the bump stop do
i have to shave off.
4. Should I have bought a 285/35/18 tire for the fronts instead?
I plan to put some DMS springs in the near future....will that effect the tire clearance?

The tire hieght difference may give you problems with your ABS . . .
As for mods, you may have to do some, the best way to tel is to put the wheels and tires on and "see" the areas of concern
I have NEVER touched my bumpstop. The only issue is the wheels cannot be installed with the axle hanging.
And lowering the car will more than likely casue the need for additional clearancing . . .
