Sumitumo tires or not

Hey guys

I was going to buy some new wheels and needed to know if sumitumo tires are worth the money spent on them. They are Sumitumo HTRZII P275/40ZR17 . Do these tires hold up well. I will be mainly driving around the streets and not doing to much racing or anything. Also how is the wear rate because i know they are z-rated.

My 315s are doing decent. Traction isn't good, but they're cheap, so it's a tradeoff. For just daily driving, they should be ok.

I used to have the 315's on mine. They have a 160 tread wear rating and lasted me right around 15k. Not too bad for $110 ea. But the traction isn't really there.

I have the HTRZ's all season W rated they do really good for me. I got 10k on my last set. Tried a street tire pass, pulled a 1.75 at the strip with them.(melted them all to hell@ 17psi)

i agree with these guys..I had a set on my car..I cut a 2.0 at the track when they were new then after a month or so I couldnt hook at all with 315s.. they are a good tire for daily driving though
