The 120.65mm bolt spacing only fits a select group of GM vehicles. The 114mm pattern fits multiple cars from several different makes. Because of this, the Mustang guys have a little bit more choice with who they can buy from, which makes competition in that particular wheel market a little more fierce. As long as F-body owners continue to buy the amount of Z06's, ZR1's, Y2K's, etc. at the rate they've been going at, there's not alot of incentive for the makers of those wheels to do anything different to remain competitive.
