Wheel stud sizes...?

Wheel stud sizes...? So how do wheel stud sizes work? From what I've found a stock wheel stud is 12mmx1.5 and 2" long. Is that the same as a 1/2x20x2 stud? What about knurl diameter, knurl length and underhead length? 
I was looking through Summit Racing's selection, a bunch of the wheel studs they have list a bunch of these measurements. What are the stock studs?
