Woohoo. UPS dropped off my Smoothies today and I couldn't wait to put them on my Chevelle. Holy cow, what a difference! I love these wheels!!! Definately money well spent.
Thanks for the compliments! Next is pulling out the LT1 and putting in the LS1 i just bought. I'm in shock still by how much better the car looks with the Boyds. Makes the old ralley wheels look, look sad.
not trying to be an ***hole but that car would be worth ten times more if you put the motor that belongs in that car. its just like the people that put LS1's in 69 camaro, the only 69 camaro i would do that too would be a RS six cylinder car.

My car is a Malibu. If it was an SS, I would have left it alone. My car is/was an all original #s matching car and I still have everything to make it original again. Nice thing about putting the LT1 in, is that i dropped right in. No cutting/hacking, etc. All about personalization.

plus it's his car, and some people just want it for fun and to play around with and personalize. not everyone is worried about the resale i know if i had a 69 or 67 or something it'd be sweet to put a ls7 in there or something. (if thats humany possible.)

You are talking out of your ***. My previous '69 SS (X55 code) was worth about $27K max if fully restored. I sold it for $60K with the LS6 and modern suspension in it.
Only the super rare musclecars are worth more in stock form. ZL-1s, Yenkos, 454 SS Chevelles, COPO cars, #'s matching Z/28s, etc... not base model Malibus or even SS 350 Camaros.
Thanks again for the replies! Loving it more each day! Over and the Chevelles.com board, I've been getting a bunch of slack about the mudflaps. Hey, I think they are ugly too, but I'd rather have those than a bunch of ugly rock chips.
