AFS or OE?

AFS or OE? I'm on the verge of picking up a set of polished 17 x 9.5 Z06 rims and 275/40/17 Hankook tires from ebay. AFS Has the package for $995 + $139 shipping. OE has the same package for $840 + $160 shipping. Both are hunter balanced.
I've heard some horror stories about OE. Very few from AFS. I don't mind paying a bit more for piece of mind, but I'm not sure which way to go.
On the low end... OE has a powdercoated set of the same rims for $740 + $49 for balancing and the same $160 for shipping.
Thoughts?
