I'd love to see more detailed pics up close please.
Few Qs for you:
1) Is the silver the factory silver? Did you apply clearcoat to the silver portions as well or just the black?
2) Did you sand the spokes or just spray it on?
3) Did you bother removing the tires from the rims? (I am assuming you removed the wheels from the car LOL

I am thinking of doing this to my car this week, but with gunmetal instead of black. Going to leave the lip machined, maybe retouch up the silver or just clear it, and do the spokes. Hopefully it turns out ok! I'll try to post pics when done.

i had a set powdercoated matte black. i didnt like it, to much black
this is what we did to my brothers car, painted the back area black, and the spokes pewter to match the body color, kinda like the 35th anniversery wheels, only much cooler.
my brother is thinking about getting diffrent wheels now, so pm me if you would be interested in his wheels.

I did mine Saturday. Cleaned them really good with Purple Power, sanded with a 3M 320 Fine Sanding Sponge, masked, sprayed 3 coats of Dupli-Color flat black wheel paint, followed by 3 coats of Dupli-Color clear coat. Came out awesome, glossy black. I'll get some better pictures when my friend brings his camera by sometime this week. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the center caps yet, I didn't paint them to see what it would look like, and I don't know whether to paint them now.
im starting to love them...i have black zr1's on my black Z and i was just lookin to change it up a bit..i was thinknin iForged aero's but these SS wheels are cathcing my eye

I have since stripped the paint and turned them into Anv Ed wheels. All the machined surfaces are there under the paint.

Here's some pics of my car ... She became a damn garage queen since I love her new paint job so much =) Wheels are painted, rather than powdercoated, Gloss black. I got tired of the Black w/silver/chrome/polished lip ... To each his own I guess. I know some others may say these are ugly ... But I love 'em! Thanks and enjoy ...
