Default What size?

Ok guys...I'm going to get some Corvette C5 (Wagon Wheels).
I want to know whats the biggest size I can run on the front and rear?
Front:
17X8.5
Rear:
18X9.5

Check out the "Does it Fit" thread at the top of this forum. 18x9.5 should fit depending on the offset on either front or rear. I run 18x9.5's on each corner with a +50mm offset. Some folks put 11" rims on the back so they can run a 315 tire but you might need to pound on the inner fender depending on the tire.

Can I run...
255/45/17 in the front
&
285/40/18 in the rear
...with no problems?
What do you guys think?

I wouldn't run a 40 series in the back . . .

A 245/45ZR17 and a 275/35ZR18 would fit great and the OD's would be the same.

I had the 18" Y2k's in the back wtih 40 series tires and I rubbed when ever I made a hard turn or hit a bump. I was lowered with sportlines though.
