Shipping wheels.

I cut cirlces of cardboard that fit over the rim/tire in the fornt and rear. I just shipped to Fikse FM/10 18's through FedEx ground for an EXCELLENT price.
If they are just wheels, just put them in a box (that fits good and throw some newspaper around the edge.

I'll second using Fed-Ex to ship them. They only charged me $75 to send 4 wheels and tires to TX. The wheels where no light weighs either. You'll deffinatly want to box them up and put an extra layer of card board over the face, it's also a good idea to bend up some carboard in little triangles for the corners of the box. That way, they won't move around much. You should beable to find 18" cube boxes at any shipping store.

Yeah I didn't box mine either, I think it would have made them more clumsy. I bought two large soft terry towels and cut them in half. Taped that solidly to the front of the wheel, and then covered the front of the rim as well as the back with large cardboard circles. Then I went nuts with the shipping tape.
