eagle f1 gs?
are they worth it?
I blew out a tire the other day and need a new one. I have eagle f1's on there all around, came with the car. Im just wondering if they're worth the $252 price tag.
It was the front right so Im not as worried about it as if it was one of the rears. Is there something comparable I can get for less? I just really dont feel like spending $252 on a tire right now.

I got the GS-D3's for 150 a piece and they grip really well for a street tire. It would be hard for me to pay an extra $100 a tire because I don't think any tire could be $100 better. Thay might be a little better, but def not $100 worth. Just my .02.

The reguarlar GS's are garbage. Numerous accounts of tires blowing up, breaking the bead, traction, etc.
The GS-D3's for some reason are cheaper and are a much better tire. Probably the only performance tire I'd get from Goodyear. Problem is it will look kind of strange only having 1 D3 up front. IMO at least.

How much life left on the other 3? Maybe you can find a used one somewhere to match, and just wait until they all wear out before buying a whole new set of something different (and better) than the orginal F1's.
