Default Got the nitto DR's installed

Discount tires squeezed them on the rim's and balanced them out for me.
Very nice riding tire. Far as traction goes, they help quite a bit. Even w/o heating them up. I'm running 25 #'s of air in them on the street, which seem's about right after chalking the tire's and driving on them a bit.
For sure you still can't go wot from a standstill, but I can use a whole lot more throttle then with my old bald goodyear's.

have you tried the BFG DR's to compare the two?

i definately want DR's and nitto's seem to be the better street tire out of the two, but i was wondering if i were to go with a 17x11/315 setup if that would be too much for my basically stock car...

but you say you can still spin them? what wheels are they on? what sizes?

Yeah, I can definately still spin them.
No, I havn't tried the bfg's. These re my first dr's.
From all I've read the bfg's and especially the mt's are hand's down the better tire's for grip.
Like you, I know the nitto's are the better tire for all around driving.
I went with a set of 245 50x16's.
They are on my factory stock wheel's

oh, so you would actually get better traction than a 17" wheel due to your 16's having a larger sidewall...

maybe i should go all out and get a 315 setup rather than sticking with a 9.5/275 setup

Hmmm...
Never thought about the sidewall thing.
That would make sense.
