Questions concernin the ABS sys. O'kay here's the deal. I just purchased the set of ROH 17" rims/tires(thanks again, Michael). As an upgrade from the stock 16" chrome on my '02 Z28(w/ tcs, deleted). That came w/ 275-40/17 Dunlop 5000's on 'em.
But, my plan(already in action, somewhat) is to go over to the 255-50/17 BFG g-force KDWS'ss and thro I'm fairly sure I'm askin for the ABS lite to come on. While doing 'em a pair @ a time. Is there a way around this??? I've already order two of the BFG's and my guess is it may be next month or so before I get the other two BFG's.(I hate folkin out the big buck a four new tire, all @ once
)
So, should I just wait and install 'em all @ once. Once I get the other two BFG's(four total). Or can I go ahead and install the two say on the front(or rear, which are @ the safety bars on the 40's, now). Meanin this would put two 50 series on running w/ two 40 series tires for a month or so. My main reasoning for this approuch is to help get away from(if, not stop) any future curb rash. By switchin over to the 50 series tires.
Any suggestions and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well, after doing some more resource on my dilemma, here. I've been told that I should be all right running the 40's up front and the 50's on the rear, for now. As far as the ABS is concerned and poss. of not havin it go into the in-oper mode while on the trip.

Nevermind, I've decided to just stick w/ those monster size 275-40's. By truning down the delivery of the 255-50's and re-ordering the BFG KDWS'ss, in the 275-40/17 version.
Frankly, I'm beginning to like the looks of having the much fatter tires on the Z, now
