Default Will Corvette C6 Wheels fit on a 2001 Camaro SS

I bought a set of 2006 corvette C6 wheels today for my 2001 SS. The fronts are 18x8.5 w/ 56 offset and the rears are 19x10 w/78 offset with Goodyear F1 245/40/18 & 285/35/19 TIRES. Does anyone know if these will fit right on there or do I need any special modifications? Not sure if the wheels will stick out too far or not far enough. It will take a few days for me to receive them and wanted to know what to expect.

Thanks

You should be OK in the front but you will certainly have issues in the rear. A +78mm offset is going to push the wheel too far into the wheel well and it will rub badly. You might need to get a spacer to make them fit in the back and use the BFH mod and or roll the fender lip. Oh, and since your new BFH= Big Fuc*ing Hammer. Basically you beat the crap out of the inner wheel well in the back where the tire rubs.

78 offset doesnt sound right?
you might need to remove your bump stops completely.
I had 58mm offset on 18x9.5 and mine rubbed a little.

Not perfect but very close. My buddy just bought a c6 and we replaced the wheels. they are +79mm offset's in the rear. I don't know if he can even get those mounted in the fbody wheel well they offset is so high.

Spacer should make them fit but I think he will need some major BFH work, cut the bumpstop and maybe even roll the lip. A lot of work for a set of wheels never meant to go on an fbody.
