DD with Micky Thompsons?
maybe the radials.... but even so I wouldn't drive them at all in the rain they are worse than about any other drag radial for wet roads. So unless you have a backup car or is doesn't rain where you live, no. If you did DD, you'd probably blow through tires about once a month depending on mileage driven.
my .02 is that if you EVER drive it for DD use, don't go w/ DRs, but if you want that hook go w/ Nitto DRs and get 10-12k miles out of it. Otherwise, if wet or hydro is a question at all, go w/ something like the Kuhmo MX or BFG KD tire. Both of those will hook crazy for street tires, good life, and good hydro resistance.
Oh, and my MT DRs are so soft that you can poke your finger in them, so street miles would eat them up.
