getting hated on for liking Hp evos!! i made a post on a local site talking about how much i liked the hp evos and i photoshopped a set on my car.....talk about some major hatin going on....

Does the guy with the G35 think his **** doesn't stink or something? "Get some domestic wheels" is a pretty ridiculous comment to make IMO.
Anyways, this isn't the lounge, so I think they look pretty slick on the Camaro. I like the look on the T/A much better though.

I like those wheels. I know a few people that do have them. Like the other guy said look what they're driving. You put those wheels on your car it'll look good. Now go for what you want and not that other board. LS1tech is behind you.

They just aren't for everyone... I didn't get much positive feedback around here (alabama) on them when I was looking at them either, I ended up going with something else. It may just be this region though.

Its the only good local site we have,but itll keep from growing to huge numbers like this site because of dicks like those two that insist on going from thread to thread to giving their bs opinion.

i would never put them on my car because i am not in to multi spoke. i met a guy with them on his '01 SS and they look pretty tuff on there. i say if it is what u do it, it is your car, and they can just kiss ur a$$.
check sig.... for under 1k, you can get a seriously sick set of wheels... imo i dont think there is a better looking wheel for the money. Nice 3 inch lip, clear coated lip, no need to polish, and a solid construction!

I recently got back the Hot Rod Power Tour that took me from Orlando to New Jersey and at every stop I had people complimenting me on the rims and my car. Even guys with older camaro's (68, 69) even thought that it looked really good with them.
To each his own, if you like em, go for it. Ask Nineball (Tony) about his red SS when he took it on the Power Tour in 04 with the 19x9.5 HP Evos. He said he got more compliments on those rims than any other's he'd owned. Things may have changed since then, but I remember him saying that.

Anytime you go outside the norm on a board like this and many others you will get that type of reaction at times. You can either get used to it, get all pissed off over it or stop posting pictures. I have learned to get used to it with a small helping of pissed off at times
I never mind someone saying they don't like something. I just have a problem with the rude way it is sometimes said. I try and use the wording that I would use if I was talking face to face with someone. If you use that method you can normally express your views without being a jackass about it.
But some folks are just jackasses so don't let it get you down.
