Found the ultimate metal polish

I have a set of non-clearcoated HRE's. My car ended up staying outdoors when I deployed to Afghanistan last year. I tried everything I could find and recommeneded on this site. Nothing worked. I still have the stupid "Ball" and about 5-6 other types of polish in my closet still. The aluminum had turned to a dull grey and the waterspots seemed burned into the metal. Even thought about wetsanding, but I was not going to do that to a set of 4K wheels. Was ready to sell them and buy some chromes. Then I found a gift from God. After about 30 minutes per wheel, they look like glass again, and it's so easy to use and rub off, my hands didn't even cramp, and these are 10 spoke wheels. It's NOXON. I found it at Lowes, but you can buy it online.

Sounds like a good product. Is it only for polished rims or does it work on chrome as well?

A "polish" like this isn't going to work for Chrome.

According to the bottle, yes, it works on Chrome. This stuff is the ****.

You will need to buy some stripper to strip the clearcoat off of the wheels first. Then this stuff would work. BUT, if you strip off the clear, they will be a little harder to maintain. I have seen this process done by Rolltide TA I believe, his wheels turned out amazing.

Great find on the polish, I will buy some soon!

It was in the section that had other stuff like Brasso and window cleaner and scouring powder. I'm going back today and buy a few more bottles. This saved me alot of money because I was ready to buy a set of chrome '06 Z06 motorsport wheels. I'm still stunned at how easily they polished up.

Man, as soon as I finished the last wheel, I was walking around the car kicking myself for not getting pics. You'll just have to trust me, this stuff rules. I haven't done the inside of the wheels yet, I probably will later this week when I have them off to I put my new brakes on. The inside of the wheels are brown right now lol. I'll snap some for sure.

We have that at work. It's amazing what that stuff can do. By for one of the best polishes out there. I bought my bottle at the grocery store, It's not hard to find at all.
