Screwed wheels + drag radials = ??

Screwed wheels + drag radials = ?? Ok guys, I have a pair of 16" firebird wheels with 11.5" MT ET Streets mounted on them, the previous owner screwed the wheels as a beadlock (although I dont think it helped)
Basically I want to lose these 11.5"s they are too much tire, but I'd like to keep the wheels. Obviously with a drag radial I would probably have no need for the screws but the wheels still have holes in them.
Can I just JB weld them closed or something like that ? Is it safe ?
