depends on what size wheels is it a 17x8 or a 17x9. Let us know. If it is a 17x8 go witha 245/45/17 if it is a 17x9 go with a 275/40/17.

That is a really skinny rim. Suggestion on that would be 225/45/17. This size stays the same diameter overall so you won't have any issues and it is the suggested size with that size rim.

Och...traction is an issue with 245s, I can't imagine 225s on there.

What's these wheels going on? If it's a LS1 then chuck em and get some 17x9s at least! If it's a v6 then your ok.

17 x 7.5??? Holy skinnies! It doesn't matter if the car is a V8 or a V6, those wheels won't really do much to enhance the look of the car if you ask me. 16 x 8" stock wheels look rediculously skinny on the car, and you're going even narrower? I'd sell those wheels and get yourself some 17 x 9 or 17 x 9.5s. You can find some nice wheel and tire packages that will fit the car much better than a 17 x 7.5!

You don't have to go as crazy as me (see sig) but still, put some decent shoes on your ride so it doesn't look like your driving down the road on CD's!

I couldn't imagine hooking with a 225 tire. I could spin the hell out of my 275 stock. Now I'm spinning 315s. But it is a v6 car. if its a stick I would imagine you spinning those small tires pretty good.
