tires what are the best tires to get for weld prostar 10" wide? what is the widest tire i can get for these rim? also what hight should i get for the tire? i don't want to cut the inner fender walls but i can do some pounding. i like the mickey thomsons but i here you have to put tubes in them. someone told me not to go over the hight of my original wheel/tire size since i have a 373 gear.
The word "Best" is subjective. Are you wanting a good streetable tire that you can get decent miles out of, or are you not worried about milage and want the best traction you can get? With 3.73s, I'd be more inclined to go up to a 28" tire instead of the stock 26", but that's depending on what mods you have done to the car too. If you're still on the stock 10-bolt rear, you're playing with a time bomb when putting sticky tires on the rear. More of a when, not if it's going to break.
