26.2" Tires

26.2" Tires Normally these cars run 25.7" overall diameter street tires but I'm swapping to 18s soon and I'd like to get a little more rubber under the rear end so I'm wanting to go with a 295/35/18 which is almost an inch wider on the footprint but it's also half an inch taller.
Will I run into any ABS or TCS problems with that extra half an inch in height? I think it'll give the car a bit more rake which would look great as well as a little more width on the rear tires (looking at BFG Drag Radials) which will also look great, not to mention it filling in a little bit of the rear fenderwell gap.
Obviously I know it's going to effectively lower (numerically) my gearing by a touch and I'll have to do some speedometer correction with tuning but I think it'll be worth it for what I'd gain (full blown street car so the little bit it would probably slow me down on the top end isn't a huge concern).

i dont think you will run into tcs or abs problems.. i've seen guys run 28" drag radials and they never mentioned anything about abs or tcs probs. as far as looks go, i think it would look better than stock tire size, and even better if you lowered your car 1" with eibach sportlines or something like that.

Car is already down an inch in the front and about 5/8" in the rear over stock with the lower perch on the Koni SAs up front and the rear isolator removed. The front gap is almost perfect IMO but the rear has a bit more gap than I'd like and I think the 26.2" tire would make it just right.
