Can a 1/4" spacer be used on stock studs .. rear only. :confused:

Probably, but I would still get longer studs, just in case. Why risk it, ya know? Plus, new studs aren't that expensive.

Yes, in general 1/4" slip-on spacer is fine to run with OEM wheel studs. As long as you get at least 6 threads worth of lugnut engagement you'll be fine. Rule of thumb for minimum thread engagement into steel is 0.75*major bolt diameter. Also, if you're using them on the rear and you happen to have aftermarket axles with fully threaded wheel studs you will find that you get a couple more threads worth of engagement over the stockers even at the same length (OEM's aren't threaded all the way).

If you're looking at spacers I would highly recommend you consider spending a few $$ extra and going with a quality billet aluminum, hubcentric spacer instead of the cheapy cast parts you find at Jeg's or Pepboys. PM me if you need a recommendation (non-sponsor).
