Will I lose performance with bigger wheels? The wheels that were on my camaro(pic in the sig) i put on my new formy today and they weigh about 2-3lbs more than the stock ones and are 245/40/ZR18's. They do take a bit more throttle to light them up from a roll around a corner, but atleast i can light them up unlike my camaro.
So my question is, am i going to lose E.T. with these bigger wheels because they are more rotating mass or something like that?

Usually bigger wheels will hurt performance. The extra weight slows the car down some.
Example: Back in '00 when 20's first came out, I put a set on my '00 RCSB Chevy stepside. Even with the 5.3, it seemed a little more sluggish. A few months later, I swapped my factory wheels back on for a few days, and it felt like I had 50 more hp. It took a good bit more power to get that extra rotational mass moving.

the added rotating weight will slow you down but also larger diamater rims with low profile tires will have less sidewall making the tire stiffer overall. Great for handling poor for straight line aceleration.
