new Tires and Rims.
AND yes i did use 1/4 inch spacer on the back. but i didnt need them...
so for anyone that has a 2001 TA convertible.. i can speak for any other types.. WE DO NOT NEED ANY MODIFICATIONS for the rims from a c5 vette to fit. and even with the spacers their is more than enough thread for the lugnuts to tighten down on
well. the place that i bought the tires form. told me the rims wouldnt fit and their wasnt enough threads with spacers for the bolts to grip......
well im glad im a stubborn person... which tim knows all about

i immediatly told them go ahead finish the balance ect. ill do it myself.
well i picked my car up and left the office early. grabbed my jack and ran back outside. the Tires dont Come near rubbing the fenderwell itself..... camaro's must be different.. i guess.
2nd their is a thing about the brake atached to the shocks that does come close. but even with out the spacer nothing is touching. their is no contact of anykind. though It was close to this piece less than a quarter of an inch. i probly can go without the spacers. but for now i have them on.
well as far as not having enough threads for the bolts to screw onto. im guessing they just wont do it if its not to oem specifications. the Tires are not coming off lol... i am glad i went with the 265/35/. if i had went 265/40 or 275/40 their probly would have been some issues with this wierd piece.
i think it looks good. and my car doesnt pull to either side anymore either which i love! lol its amazing how having a diff rim/tire can pull a car to one side so easy.
i went for a little drive. ride Very smooth. i love thes fusion tires. i think their the best bang for the buck tires out now.
i didnt really get on it to hard. but i did punch it once at about 30 mph and i didnt loose traction. where before i would so i know they have helped atleast alittle anyhow im happy. no more ghetto! though im getting the headlight fixed also.
either way congrats!
As far as the profile of the tires looking a little different, its not that bad and would look even better if it was lowered a little (1.5). If you do that though, be sure and upgrade the shocks too so your ride will still be smooth.
