Sumitomo HTRZ's have lasted me 25K miles and counting, they've still got easily 50% tread left.

Yes, the drag radials hook. No, the street tires dont. Surprise!
That's the first time I have ever brought up tirewear numbers in any thread I know I can't vouch for their life first hand, I ordered mine and they aren't here yet. And BAD99TA is right, they are 160, not 100, my bad And that's great to hear that they have lasted you that long too. I am still expecting my front tires to last a lot longer than these Sumitomos though. I will be running those Nitto NT555's up front. I just can't spend so much on tires when the time comes around. My last car had the GS-D3 315/35/17 on the rear and those things were huge! But the price difference between one of those and these Sumitomos is what made me buy them to experiment with.

I liked them on my car. Not a whole lot of traction, but more then I was told they would give me. Plus, the price is right. They also smoke well, check sig pic. LOL

What kinda driving were you doing on them? I have close to 20k on mine and they are only about 50% worn out.

I have them on my '99 (the Smurf).

Ditto the post about "20K miles and only halfway worn down". Seem like a pretty good treadwear rating, although I forgot what it is actually. My '99 was a DD before I got my truck and I very rarely drove the car hard.

Ditto the post saying they are loud when you spin them. Yeah, they really scream in protest when you are boiling them.
