Drag tire help
Drag tire help I have Nitto nt-01 on the rear. 18x30x315's. They dont hook for crap at the track. I've tried. I heat them up (line lock here) but to no avail. They wont hook. 2.1 60' is my best. And we're not talking above 2k rpms on the clutch dump.
So I'm thinking about going with some stock rims 16x8 and MT ET Street Radials. 255 / 50R16 Will they hook better than what I'm running? I cant afford to buy 15" rims and then tires. I can get stockers for cheap keep my current front tires on there and run the radial mt street.
Next question is should I do it? I have 18" rims in front w/ 275x35x18's
