Winter tire size question
I've got an offer for a set of four Blizzak WS-50 tires for dirt cheap, however I'm not sure if the size will work. They are 205/60-R16s. I'm almost sure they won't fit on the stock rim, but if I bought some steel rims to fit, is that enough tire to get me around in the winter? Will they stand up on the highway? I'll turn the deal down if they wont work for a Camaro, I simply don't know.
Thanks for the help!

They'll work if you get the stock base model 16x7 steel or aluminum wheels. The base model cars had 215/60/16 tires. A 205 will only be slightly shorter but shouldn't throw off the speedo by much(maybe 2-3mph). Narrower tires work better in deep snow as they don't have to push as much out of the way.

Hmm, alright. I just talked to the tire guy here in town and he swears up and down that the 205s will fit on my stock 16x7 rim. I asked him a couple times and he says they will work. Any other opinions? I appreciate the comments GETGONE and I will see if I can find some smaller rims.
