What tires do YOU have?
the falkens seem to run smaller though.
i have seen bfg's g force in the same size [275/40/17] and they look a lot wider.
the falkens look more like a 245/45/17 than the size i got.
A nice tire for the money is the Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval...probably the BEST for the money.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Great tire for handling and ride, but definately lacking in the traction area. On the street just cruising, I love them, but I am waiting on MT to release their 18" DR's and I will switch to them on the rears.
Dry Traction: GREAT
Rain: So far great.
Noise: No road/tire noise at all.
Tread wear: is excellent.
Price: decent
Overall I highly recommend these tires and plus they look great too!
I had the Kumho MX good tire and still got 4/32 with 22k on them(good since there only 220 treadwear) and there only like 125 a tire from tiretrack...I wanted to see if Icould try something different.
I went the Wide Oval by Fireston that or the MX was the only real choices for me. All the KDW,KD,GS-D3,Michelin tirse was like 180-260 a tire and your paying for 5% better not 50% better but that much of the price.
I will let you guys know when I get the firestone on and balacned. I figured if I can get 30k since I have got 22k plus of the MX that with the added price of the tire it will even out in a longer tread wear by maybe 5k so that will pretty much make that difference up. And I'm getting them local since it comes out cheaper.
tires shouldn't be such a hard choice but it seems they are.
So for under the 160.00 price range I would go withthe MX or wide oval..really anything under the 200 range....
They last forever & Grip good for a reg radial.
And are Only $113.00 on Sale.
