ws6 tires
ws6 tires hey guys i have a 98 ws6 currently running some 275 40r 17 bfg gforces, which are smoked. I just got some goodyear eagle zr40's (same size as my bfgs) for free
but they are used, and only have about 75% tread left, so im looking to get 2 new tires for out back.
I'd really like 315's, ive seen it done on stock ws6 rims, but some people are telling me its not safe, others tell me its ok. (i looked at the sticky, but im not sure exactly how wide my rims are).
so, if they fit, how are the 555rs? If the dont, what is a good size rear tire? I drive the car daily, but i am looking for something thats gonna hook up good, so ill sacrifice some treadlife for performance.

Your rims are 9.5" wide, and putting a 315 on those rims would be really dangerous. Even though the 555r's are the thinnest of the 315 line, they would still create a pretty big bulge on the walls of your tire. But hey its your life, if you feel like ending it because you want a wider tire. Than GO FOR IT BUDDY!!
