new wheels

i got my c6 zo6 rims on today. they came from tomzwheels. there are alot of minor flaws, little dent looking things and alot of fine fine scratches. they are far from the greatest look i think but i hope they will grow onto me. they are ok, i just dont know what to think. ohh, the round center cap corvette emblem is horrible, when i opened the boxes all of the center caps were out of the package and the rims were siting on top of them

any ideas on how to get different center inserts or maybe a sticker overlay?

I like em the car looks good to me those are 17's on the front and 18's on the back right?

yea, 17x9 fronts and 18x10.5 rears. they fit ok but the rears when jacked up were resting against the bump stops so i may have to beat it in or cut it out. im going to take another look tomorrow after i drive it a little bit and see if it is a problem...

Nice ride. What size tires are you running, do the rears stick past the fenderwells at all, is tomzwheels doing anything about the scratches and how much is it lowered?

the fronts are 275-40-17 rear are 285-35-18. if i did it again id put a 295 or 305 on the back. the rears do not stick out past the fender wells. im not contacting tomz about the problems bc im going to get some good cleaner and hope that takes care of the scratches and all the bs i went through just to get these i honestly dont feel like going through it all again.

Sorry to hear of the scratches and pits in the rims. They do look awesome. Do you have any problems with rubbing on the tires. Looks to be the exact same size wheels&tires off a C-5 ZO-6.

well with the car jacked up the rims rest on the bump stops, they are fine with the car down but i think im going to beat on it a little bit just to be safe
