The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
say, SS 10 spokes 18x12s....
or some deep dish c5 ZO6 wheels...
and personally, i like Assanti wheels better then i-forged, the riveted sets just look much better to me...less rivets=less cluster=
but regardless of what you guys decide, good luck and have fun!
I would love to have wider 10 spoke SS wheels. 17x11 or 12. 18s if they are the same weight as 17s.
Does anybody know of anyone who widens wheels?
Does anybody know of anyone who widens wheels?
From another post...
"I found a company to widen the 17x8.5 to 11.5's. www.weldcraftwheels.com
only problem is they want $165 per wheel to widen. If you have to buy the wheels that puts them at about $330 per wheel. Might as well get a custom billet wheel."
They are relatively not known except for online and hopefully if they joined with Tom's Wheels, they could offer their wheels are lower cost. Obviously there is a huge demand for them, but 2500 dollars for wheels only is rather high.
If they were priced closer to the price of two piece boyds, I would imagine they would greatly expand their custom base.
Also I think Boyds would be a great option for Tom's Wheels as well.
They already seem to be more in price with what most here are willing to spend on wheels, yet most Boyd representatives are specialized in custom trucks, low riders or older customs OR Discount Tire which only want to sell the Cragar looking Boyds.
Hopefully some reasoning is better than just
FIKSE, IFORGED, CCW, BOYDS
If Tom's Wheels are looking for only cheaper wheels, Ruff Racing has some of the best style wheels I have ever seen from cast wheels in the aftermarket. But I would hope they could offer wider width wheels and better offsets.
