Default Best solution for dirty Stock wheels?

So far I've tried a few things like.. Simple soap and water.. a couple random polishes from autozone.. nothing has really been able to get "deep down" into the grime.. So if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

If there chrome you can use sone steel wool. Theres different abrasives though. Get the one thats least abrasive. I know it sounds scary and you think it will mess up the chrome but it wont. I had a set of chrome 03 cobra rims that were pretty bad, and the steel wool made them look great

1 more thing, if your scared to do that, which I was too for the first time. Just try out alittle spot first. Then wax that little spot with regular car wax. Watch how nice it'll look. You will be amazed
