ebay rims, i need help
ebay rims, i need help i bought a set of z06 wheels on ebay...seller said original chrome wheels of a 04 corvette.....well that shoulda been my first clue, but i didnt know they didnt make chrome gm wheels in 04....anyways, the wheels are fake. no gm stamp on them and the finish on them is terrible. i disputed the wheels with paypal to get my money back and they are asking me to have a qualified third party certify them as "non gm wheels".
any ideas on how to go about doing this....does anybody work for gm or any wheel place that can help me out here????pretty much im looking for a short letter (with letter head) stating the facts on a gm wheel and how to identify it and what characteristics make it a fake....

Agreed....dealer is your best bet. They didn't make Chrome Z06 wheels....EVER. All the chrome ones are aftermarket.
Many of them are good....but apparently the set you got wasn't. Post up some pics.

thanks alot guys, i went to the dealer, the parts manager used to have a 02 camaro, and he also went for the z06 wheel look, needless to say, he hooked me up. gave me a letter, pic's, part #'s and all. sent it back to paypal, and they agreed to give me full refund.......
now i have to fight the shipping cost....150.00 they expect me to pay to get these back to the seller...imo he should pay for it for being crooked....but i dont think thats gonna happen....
maybe i should just count my losses here and just be done with it.....
