Tire width

what's the maximum width tire I can put on my stock 98 T/A rims? I think it has 245's now. It doesn't seem like it would be possible to put a tire on the rim that is wider than the rim itself.

you can put up to a 255 width tire on it safely...look in the stickies on the top of the wheels section and it tells you the widest tires you can run on all size rims.

ive got the 255's on mine bfg drag radials. work fine took them to 150mph.
