This doesn't have anything to do with getting your wheels but, I just had to say that I really like your signature pic. You'll have to find a way to the get car in exactly the same position and light once you get the Rebels on it.

Well, they are on their way, I have tracking numbers for all 4 and it seems they are scheduled to be at my place on Monday, which is PERFECT! I'll leave England tomorrow at 12:20 pm and get home around 7:30. Leaving me Sat. and Sunday to do the BFH mod and get the fender lips sorted out, then Monday I'll test everything with the new wheels and make any adjustments. I can't wait until they get here!! Troy, thanks again for all the help, you guys have an awesome group at DTD, I'll make sure to get a really good sig once the wheels are on!!!

Not sure what springs you have but you might not have to do anything other than mount them and drive.

Hmm, I have a Pro-Kit, apparently the KD's are pretty big. I may wait and see how much I'll have to do.

The rims were JACKED UP out of the box. The part that mounts to the hub (rotor) was completely chewed up like some hydrolic vise had grabbed it with all it's might. You can clearly see this when the rims are on the car...that part is visible.
The backside lips were completely (and I mean completely) scratched up. Not little surface scratches.....gouges.

So we were just at the SEMA show...and guess what...Boyd Coddington was there! We got in line with everyone else who was gawking and waiting for his autograph. We finally got up to him and my gf asked him why her rims came that way.

The guy never smiled and just shrugged his shoulders like he didn't car and said "things happen...next person". That's when she started chewing him out. Boyd's wife (who was next to him signing the same poster) finally chewed him out and told him to get her information and get her taken care of.

That was on Thursday at the SEMA show. We got back and that Monday the new rims were here! Guess what???? THEY WERE EVEN MORE JACKED UP THAN THE FIRST SET!!!!

Besides having the same problems as the first set....the back of the wheel looked like peeling chrome (best way I can describe it). There's only one problem....there's no chrome or coating on those wheels....it was the METAL PEELING AND SEPERATING!!!

Now we have the VP of the NM Discount Tire Co. and a few others stepping in to take care of things. Hopefully this 3rd set will come out right. If you have your rims...I would open them up and take a good look at them now......

And BTW....my gf bought her '02 T/A brand new...it's a 6-speed...and she knows how to drive it!
i love it when i read stories like this, this has happened to me 3 times with different wheels and different distributors, and when you call them they say " thats the first time we have had a problem" or "never seen that before" or" well hand check the next set, and they come in worse.. like stevie wonder check them or something. im glad im not the only one....

Yeah, the pro-kit is a bit lower than mine. And the KD's do run bigger than nitto's so you may have to do some work. I went with the BMR springs just so I wouldn't have to do much, just lower enough to get rid of the 4x4 look. Can't wait to see it.

Well I finally got them in and they look GREAT, big thanks to everyone at DTD, Troy, Kelen, Luke, and Bob, they all helped out leaps and bounds past what you would expect! I have a few pics in a thread in this section, they are crappy night pics but I will take more today! I had ALOT of BFH modding to do on the driverside, not so much on the passenger, but enough to make me ache.
