Default PSI in 275/40/17

I just got 17" WS6 wheels for my TA, what pressure are the tires supposed to be at?

The tires have max psi on them I want to know what they are supposed to be run at for our cars. Thanks.

GM says 30psi for these cars (it's on the door sticker). That's for both the 245/50/16 and the 275/40/17 tires.

38psi.. any less and your car will feel like a sponge any more and youll rattle your teeth out and the tires will wear uneven

Ive always just put 34psi in all my tires. They have always worn perfectly.

What? No. Thats way too much for daily use. 30-32 PSI is whats recommended. The car won't feel like a sponge unless your running on something with no sidewall.

Depends on the tire but anywhere from 31 to 34 psi I've found is perfect. I usually run 33 in the front and 31 in the rear.
