I was just wondering if you could tell the width of your wheels without taking the tire off. I bought the car with aftermarket wheels already installed.

Read the Tire.

IE. 275/60/15. Thats a 15in wheel and most likely an 8in width. You could do that then compare with tire sizes and see what rim that size tire would fit on.

Rough estimate. Measure the wheel front lip to rear lip and subtract 1" . . . Wheels only come in 1/2" increments, so:

If you measure the wheel to be 10" wide overall, subract 1" so the wheel is a theoretically 9" wide.

Got it?

Do you know someone with a large set of calipers or large clamps? You might be able to use them to measure if you need to know down to the 1/2"
