new wheels ? I bought some 18/9.5 Zo6 wheels with bald tires from a member on here. the two with the most tread went on the back, and the other two on the front. When I drive it wanders from right to left at random. The tire purchase included 2 run flats, so I put those on the back instead. The guy at the tire place told me that "the zo6's are 1 1/2 inches wider that stock so it's gonna pull at random, even if you buy new tires." I'm gettin them balanced later this week. just wanted to get your opinion on the "professional" advice.
thats not right. it should not pull at random at all, unless you have other suspension or alignment issues. width should not make a car pull. hell the ss and ws6 wheels are an inch wider and an inch taller than stock and they do not make the car pull side to side. get them balanced and if that does not work try an alignment.
