Nitto Question Has anyone else's 555r's cracked?? I've got some cracks in my tires that run from the tread down the side wall of both my rear tires (555r's) I dont drive the car durring the winter but it does sit outside, could the cold have do it to them?? Also I'm going to get new tires, I have regular 555s up front I'm thinking about putting them in the rear too, anyone run them all around? Thoughts Good/bad??

I had some crack over the winter on an older car I had. The soft rubber doesn't hold up too well in resisting cracking in icy cold weather. I'd put some tire dressing on them from time to time to help keep moisture in them if it absolutely must sit outside. Otherwise, if you go with the regular 555's this problem probably won't be too much of an issue. They aren't going to hook like the 555r's but will last longer and be less prone to resist cracking.
