Nice! I can see a tone/shade within the pewter that is being brought out by the wheel color. I really like this! Don't look back. Pewter seems to be a tough color for accenting. Crome....black...red...do they pop on pewter quite right? (sorry it's my opinion). Follow up with the black brakes like you said and that'll be really cool and unique looking. Maybe it's the teaspoon of magenta or whatever pewter has that makes it difficult to accent...

What did you use to paint the wheels with? Was it a rattle can and if so what exact color and brand of paint was it or did you use a spray gun and actual paint?

I had never even heard of that special edition Fire Hawk before I made the original post, but yea they do look kinda similar.
The paint I used was Dupli Color Wheel Coating in Metallic Bronze. Going to be redoing them this winter and putting on a few coats of clear coat on them.
