Here is my pewter Camaro on both sets of wheels I have, chrome Z06's and Polished CCW's. Polished is definately a higher maintenance wheel but also makes a higher statement than chrome. If you know how to care for them properly I would go with the polished.

I think polished has a classy look even though it may be harder to keep clean. I dont mind the cleaning I kind of enjoy it. Chrome has to much bling in my opinion.

not sure what wheels your looking at but chrome is cheaper then a nice polished billet wheel by alot! it depends on what your using your car for but if you drive it frequently i'd go chrome otherwise polished is alot nicer. i have chrome on my daily driver and polished on my show car.

Chrome do you need to ask? Way better then polished, if you have the money buy chrome. People that say polished looks nicer just don't want to spend the money so they tell themselves that.
You do not use paper towels on chrome btw. Can scratch very easily.

not to single yourself out but have you ever priced a nice polished billet wheel. chrome is the cheaper wheel now days. maybe if your talking about a steel polished wheel then i suppose but most people don't refer to those these days.

chrome is the cheaper and easier wheel to maintain but you have to maintain it. let brake dust sit and it will eat away at any minor flaw in the chrome causing the wheel to peel and eventually look like hell. the upside to polished is that you can always polish the wheel to bring back the shine. once you let chrome go it's gone..

Exactly, I couldn't agree more. Since my car is a garage queen only sees nice days it was a no brainer, polished all the way!

what happened with your zoop seal. it's a bit expensive to not work right?

what rims did you have also. i have some cheaper polished wheels that are a pain. my bozes i've let go when i shouldn't and can't say enough about how nice and quick they clean up. the design of a wheel also plays into how hard they are to clean also.

if you take care of your car in all honesty either will be fine if you get good quality. polished is just more maintance because the metal is more porus where as the chrome is a much slicker surface. keep up on either and your good but if your lazy don't think twice and get chrome.

CHROME!!!!!!!

It may weigh a tiny bit more but you just freaking wipe them down, thats it. Polished lips are a pain in the ***, and I have 2 sets to keep up with. Still LOVE my wheels don't get me wrong and also nice if you ever get slight curb rash, they are easy fix but chrome you kinda screwed.

Peace,
Craig.
