Pro Star/ stud Q

My '99 SS will see the track about once a month. I want 15x8 stars 5.5 bs.
I know ill have to grind calipers and run a 5/16 spacer. My Q is, will the factory studs be ok on the pro stars? Ill just be running rears at the track. No skinnies up front.

your studs should be fine it doesnt hurt to change them but i never had a problem when i was running my 15x10 draglites with stock studs.

They will not pass tech if you get someone picky. Min of 2.5" or a 3" stud is needed.

i had a 2.5in stud up front with 5/16 spacer. It is not long enough and will not pass tech. I now have 3inch studs up front and everything is fine.
