16 in rims

I just got 2 16in trans am wheels off of a buddy of mine. I plan on using these rims to put a set of street slicks on them. I was jsut curious what the best size tire to go with would be, my stock tires are 275/40/ZR17

255/50 drag radial will work fine or you can run a 26x10.5" ET street

It won't change enough to notice or mess wiht the ABS or anyhitng. 275/40 17 is 25.7" tall so its only a tiny difference from there to a 255/50 16 which is 26" tall.

I have the 255/50 16 MT ET Street on my TA and they work great.
