Default Offset question...

I did a search and it didn't provide the answer I was looking for...

What the hell is it? Hahaha.

I guess my biggest question is this...

If you had two different size rims(weld pro stars)...

15x10 w/ 7.5" backspacing and it has a +51mm offset

If you have that same 15x10 w/ 7.5" backspacing and a +38mm offset

Which one of those sticks the wheel out further?

yah, .5"

i was looking at the Weld Drag Magnum's that are 15x10 w/ 7" backspacing, but the offset then is 38mm vs. the 51mm of the pro stars.

i'm just trying to figure out how much further it will stick out and if that 13mm offset difference is just because the rim is .5" less in the backspace. I guess that's how the numbers come up if that's how you really measure it with the centerline of the 10" wheel.
