wheel spacers I did a search and couldnt find much information...
Can someone please explain to me the advantages and drawbacks of wheel spacers. Ive heard alot of conflicting information. I was thinking about 1/4" spacers in the rear of my 2001 SS; just to get the tires out a little bit more, cosmetic purposes only. Will 1/4" work, could/should I go bigger/smaller.

Spacers on stock wheels studs add stress to the studs themselves and are asking for trouble...... ive seen them sheer off going down the freeway(Local buddy)... many have done it and it never happened to them....... but id hate to me that guy who it did happen to......
