What tires do I need
What tires do I need I am very new to the LS1 cars and I just purchased a 99 Trans Am. It is stock with 3.73 gears and Yank SS3600 converter on the way. Also have a LS6 intake and will get an SLP lid.
My question is which Drag Radials should I get and in what size ( my car has 17" rims with the orig 275/40-17 ). I will be racing this car and driving it on the street quite a bit.

street/racing go with the m/t with the 275/40/17, the mickeys are alot softer than the nittos so dont be surprised if they wear out quicker, or like the guy above said do the nittos or bfg's.
