Default difference of kdw kdws

Is there any major difference between these two. Should I get one over the other for daily driving.

Depends if you drive in the snow or not. KDW tire is compatible with dry and wet conditions and not meant for the snow or freezing temps. However the KDWS tire is compatible with all those conditions. The "S" actually indicates this as a snow tire.

I have KDW2 tires. It had just started to snow one night as I was driving home from work and I could barely even drive my car.

so for a daily driver that sees snow if I get caught out in it then I should go with the kdws.

probably, i have been caught in snow on kdw summer tires before, and it is not ideal. it's doable but why? just get the kdws or an extra set of winter/snow tires.

I have driven my KDWS in snow many times. They do ok if you are careful. But they are not much for traction compared to KDW's in warm conditions.
