Nice setup.

I think you need to lower the back quite a bit, maybe either a set of lower springs or a set of cut rear stock coil springs, or cut real coils + remove the spring rubber cup, and sleeve the coil with radiator hose. Looks like you need to drop the rear two inches. Do you have drag shocks up front?

love them bogarts!! what size tires (profile) are they? seem like 30's or maybe 35's. I would go with 40/45's, then you would not have the big gap we all see or lower it if your stuck on them size tires. course this is what I like but, atleast lower your car . none the less rims look sweet.

Yeah definitely a killer looking wheel. This is the picture that made me decide I had to have them:

Right wheels. Wrong stance and rear offset. Now that the rear's broken, you should get it shortened so the wheels tuck. Maybe your rear housing isn't centered with the body which caused the passenger side to stick out too much?

I like the staggard stance with the front lower than the rear.

It looks mean .

Sorry for all the questions I just love the look of these wheels.

I can check but they are 17" so if the brake set says it will work with 17" rims you should be fine. If that is to small you would be a no go since 17 is the largest Bogart makes.

The spring cup came out when I had the 12 bolt put in. I need to get some lowering springs for the back for sure. It has QA1's up front and in the back.

You might find a set of lowering springs for in back, or take a set of stock springs, and cut 2 coils off and sleeve the coil... That might be around 2 inches...

That is carbon he post here as well. We have the exact same set up as far as size and spacing. When I called Steve at SJM that is the pic he referred me to and said that it was the exact same set up as I was requesting.

Will that not destroy the fuctionality of the spring and send me bouncing down the road like a low rider.

I see what you are saying but no there is no spacer that is the brake disk in the black color and then the silver is the rim, it has a flat part behind the center section that kinda looks like a spacer.

Definantely looks better but mines is a street car first track car second and I do not want a crazy bouncy ride. If anyone knows how it effects ride chime in on this. I would do it in a heart beat if it don't screw up the feel of the car.

Guys,

There are no spacers on these wheels. The centers are a one-piece milled component. Regarding tucking the rear wheels, this is a typical setup we do for most. As mentioned, it is the same as "carbons" setup as well. As suggested above, we cannot move the wheel in any further then what they are right now.

For comparison, they tuck in more then most ZR1 setups you see out there, we cannot move them in further unless you want to start removing the bumpstops completly and modifying the inner fender area quite a bit.

The wheels may look like they stick out just from the picture angle. It could also be the rear-end is also not centered.

I think the car looks fantastic. Good luck with the rear-end, let me know if you need any additional help or advise.

When you're ready, let me know. We don't just build a one-sized wheel. The part that many overlooks is that I can build them in a variety of ways to clear different brake combinations and STILL have the same backspace that you'll need. Different centers can be worked in to give different clearance specs needed as well as altering inner/outer shells to accomodate the widths that is required for the setup.

The best solution I can give you is to figure out which brakes you want, as long as i have the brake profile, I will see if I can put the wheels together to fit your calipers requirments.
