Default HELP!! Polishing??

Im receiving my TT2's today, and I wanna get them installed right away, because I am anxious to see what its gonna look like. But now the weather channel is saying that it might rain for the next couple days. Any ideas of what I can do to protect them and keep them looking brand new, even though Im gonna be drivin through it. I heard that when polished wheels are drivin in the rain that they will never look the same again, is that true?. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

I daily drive with mine on. This includes the rain, sleet, snow, ice, salt, whatever it is, I drive in it. Just be sure to polish them up like once or twice a month and they will stay looking good. A good polish like Wenol, Master Formula, or Mother's Billet will leave a protective layer on the wheels and help keep off the elements. Or you could put on a layer of wax after you polish and that will help too!

Get some Rejex too, that's a good sealant.

Yeah I FINALLY got some TT2's I'll get pictures of them as soon as I get them mounted. Can those products be found at any auto parts store or do they have to be ordered online? What kind of wax would I put on them?

Mother's billet you can find just about anywhere, the otherones you'll have to look online for. I'd honestly use a sealant rather than a wax. Waxes can leave a hazy finish on polished aluminum. Look into Rejex, order it online, it's not too expensive and it's a good sealant.
