really, I've never heard of rubbing anything up front. Let alone the brake caliper of all things. Seems like a pretty dangerous flaw in a rim. I was getting ready to order a set, I'll have to inquire about this.

If those are stock brakes something isn't right.

Mine don't come close.

Ha...that sucks. I do know about this first hand. I work at a wheel/tire store. My buddy in his TA bought some TT 2's and it did that on both fronts. We were both confused as hell as to why since nobody else has that problem. We sent them back for a new set and it did the same thing. We ended up going to a machine shop to mill the wheels some. Yes, I know this know thing is retarded. I still can't figure it out!

It seems like this problem is becoming more common. Just pull out the dremel and sand that bracket down a bit so it clears. I've seen a lot of people doing it here lately

Were there not some vibration problems also from a few guys? That's a shame co'z I really like these wheels and I've almost ordered a set a couple of times already, and I still think about getting a set everytime I see them,.... but then this problem with caliper clearance... . I hope they fix these problems.

No you dont have a factory freak, it has happened to quite a few people actually. Me included lol. I just grinded the bottom of the caliper a little bit and its fine. If you have any questions, let me know......

yea..i was just a bit disappointed...i have enough to worry about with the body shop owner. I didn't wanna have to deal with Tom's too. They were so nice and stuff. Yea its been ground down now and since they were put on during the body repair I haven't gotten to drive it yet.

I hope this problem is being addressed. I was going to order a set this week, now I'm going to wait until I hear this has been corrected. I for one don't want to start grinding brake calipers on my car.

You don't grind the actual caliper, just part of the bracket. My passenger's side was like that. I think it's due to variances in build tolerance with the brakes.

I was going to purchase some TTII's from TomZ wheels today, but luckily I ran into this thread while looking up the phone number. This issue really concerns me; I have no intention of grinding anything on my car. Is this really a "common" problem or are these just a few isolated incidents?

Trust me bro its not bad to do, nor will it hurt anything on your car. You only have to grind a tiny bit, not even noticeable.
