chrome peeling off wheels......help

chrome peeling off wheels......help The chrome on some of my wheels are starting to peel. What can I do to prevent it from peeling all the way off or will I have to get the whole wheel rechromed. I have the stock 16's so hopefully it wont be that expensive to fix. They are peeling right in the center around the black cover that has abs written on it.

Thats what I was afraid of. I found some OE reproduced chrome 17 WS6 wheels but would rather spend the money on performance than wheels. Hope fully I can get another year or two before the chrome starts flaking completely off. Thanks for your input
